FROM RIGHT TO LEFT MARGARET AND PATTI

My dearly departed loving friend Margaret Adkins has gone home to be with the Lord. Margaret was a long time friend from America. I had always known Margaret to be so much fun to be around. I enjoyed her company and her fantastic sense of humor. Her thoughtfulness and kind-heartedness were two of her many valuable traits that I will miss the most. Rest In Peace My Friend.

For All The Adkins Family

Do not stand at my grave and forever weep. I am not there;

I do not sleep. I am a thousand winds that blow. I am the diamond glints on snow. I am the sunlight on ripened grain. I am the gentle autumn’s rain. When you awaken in the morning’s hush I am the swift uplifting rush of quiet birds in circled flight. I am the soft stars that shine at night. Do not stand at my grave and forever cry. I am not there. I did not die.

A Valentine Desktop Wallpaper For You

I often create computer Desktop Wallpapers, mainly because I enjoy doing them so much. Here is one for Valentine's Day which you may snag and feel free to use on your own computer. Just 'click' on the small image to see the enlarged size, and then just 'right click' on that one and save to a folder on your hard drive. The wallpaper is made for a screen resolution of 1024 X 768, but feel free to resize to accomodate your own screen. Do take a look at the enlarged size as the smaller image does not do the wallpaper any justice at all.

Enjoy!

Is There Hope For All The Victims Of Haiti's Earthquake?

Free To Disagree

Earlier today I entered a post on Facebook making a remark about President Obama. To view my remark follow me on Facebook (Patti Hoesten-Watts) and add me as a friend. Feel free to disagree. This is what 'Freedom Of Speech' is all about. Don't worry I won't be the least bit offended if you disagree.
One of the greatest things about America is that we have Freedom of Speech which many countries do not have. Just because I made a statement about Obama in no way represents the American people, nor did my statement mean that everything about Obama represents disconnectedness or incongruity. There are flaws in all governments and this is one of the times I see a flaw in the American government. For a country that has sent men to the moon and men and woman to conquer the outreaches of space and the universe and the depths of the mighty oceans and seas.....there is definitely something missing here. There are precious hard working people of America and other countries that have raised tens of millions of dollars to aid the people in Haiti as a result of the recent earthquake. The fact that America is the most powerful country in the world and one of the richest countries in the world, why is it that the 'powers that be' have not pushed more of a move to "MAKE THIS WORK' than we are already seeing in Haiti. I have never seen so much chaos in my entire life. I have been following the news explicity since the earthquake covering reports from all of the major new providers here and abroad. This is such a sham from what I have been able to see...unless of course the ' media powers that be' in their corporate arm chairs are only letting us see what they want us to see.....then this is more of a sham to dupe the American people and the millions of other kind-hearted people throughout this world. If this is the case then we have all been duped...and doomed forever.If you think that something should be done to quicken the process to help save lives then pick up your phone and raise a stink. Call your local politicians and raise some hell or send an e-mail to the Whitehouse.

Don't be the one that doesn't call. If enough people read this then GOD willing (and I stress GOD not 'god') something just might happen. Take a stand this time, and really make your thoughts known. Let's see proof of the pudding.
